How did you meet?
Temple University School of Pharmacy (2010-2014), but we didn’t start dating until 2 years after we graduated in 2016.
How did the proposal happen?
Very low key. David proposed right before we were leaving to head to the airport for a trip to Europe – it then became an engagement vacation!
Why did you choose a Cescaphe Wedding?
Cescaphe was the only event group that really offered everything inclusively in the price, and so much was included! The Down Town Club venue had the elegant aesthetic we were looking for, and it seemed to be the right size to accommodate all of our guests but with an intimate feeling.
What was your favorite part about wedding planning?
Having to make decisions together as a team – it helps having a partner to support you, as it’s a long and sometimes stressful process.
What was your favorite part of your wedding?
Everything! But the service, photo booth, and décor were the tops!
What did you do to make your wedding day extra special?
We didn’t have a bridal party, so we were able to truly focus on each other and our day, not so much about organizing or rounding up other people.
What advice would you give to future brides and grooms?
Cliché answer, but don’t sweat the small stuff. Weddings are a lot of money, planning and organizing, but in the end it’s all really worth it. Work together and try to have fun in the process. But remember you only have one day (it really flies by!), so really enjoy and live in the moment!
