The Water Works is a National Historic Landmark with breathtaking views of Boat House Row and the Center City skyline from its waterfront location at the foot of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Engine House is home to the venue’s Main Ballroom, which features beautiful natural hardwood floors accented by crystal chandeliers. Guests will be impressed as they enter through the Grand Foyer, with its opulent crystal and iron chandeliers with shimmering veil of ball chain and tile floors accented by espresso stained hardwood. Cocktails will be served on the Veranda under custom gray and ivory striped tenting that shows off the panoramic waterfront views. Water Works features Cescaphe Event Group’s only outdoor reception location. During select months the Grand Pavilion will host ceremonies and receptions. The neoclassical revival architecture dates back to the early 19th Century with towering columns providing windows to the panoramic views that have made the venue of Philadelphia’s most iconic destinations. Custom tenting will extend the space on each side and allow for protection from most weather occurrences. A Water Works affair will truly show guests why it is considered one of the most romantic locations in Philadelphia.
