Event Manager

Your wedding is now just weeks away. We know how stressful this time can be. That’s why you can rely on your Event Manager to handle all the heavy lifting—from finalizing your timeline, to coordinating with your vendors, to dealing with last-minute worries. On the wedding day itself, your Event Manager will seemingly be everywhere at once: coordinating the staff and making sure that everything from cocktails to dessert comes together in perfect harmony. Leaving you free to enjoy the happiest day of your life.

Favorite Aspect of Role

Getting to know my brides and grooms as we plan together, and making their ideas of a dream wedding a reality. One of my favorite moments is when they first walk into the ballroom and see how Cescaphe brought their vision to life. To see their excitement, tears of joy, and pure happiness is truly the best feeling. These are real-life fairy tales.

Expert Advice

Creating the Perfect Seating Chart

  • Seat your parents closest to your SH table
  • Group your guests together before placing on floor plan
  • Friends closest to band/speakers (you know they won’t be sitting long)
  • Older guests or close family keep away from band/DJ
  • Don’t stress, your guests will only be sitting there for a total of 45 minutes of the whole 4 ½ hours, as they will be up dancing and enjoying themselves

My To Do List

I work alongside the Event Coordinator throughout the entire planning process. Once the planning appointment is complete and a final guest count is known, I will put together a custom floor plan to best suite each wedding, coordinate logistics with vendors and go over every last detail with the couple to make sure we are aware of any and all changes. On the wedding day I am there to run the show and share my expertise and knowledge. I lead the events team and make sure every detail that is planned is executed to perfection.

Best Story

While training as an Event Manager in my early Cescaphe days, it was constantly expressed that we must go above and beyond for our clients. I’ve seen this in action many times as an Event Manager. For example, sewing the bride’s dress back together, learning the perfect bustle, accommodating severe dietary restrictions and allergies, etc. But I’ll never forget the day, I stepped in to officiate a wedding. Unfortunately, there was some confusion with the officiant, but I made a promise that the wedding would go on. So I got quickly ordained online and the Bride, Groom and I found a ceremony that we liked. They emailed me their vows, and I hid my iPhone in a leather binder. No one knew other than the wedding party and close family that I was not actually the officiant and the wedding went off without a hitch. Luckily for me, no matter how nervous I was, the couple was absolutely amazing and made ME feel so comfortable standing in front of a group of strangers. Needless to say, I will never forget this couple and their sweet families!
