Favorite Aspect of Role
There is no better feeling than watching so many amazing, true love stories unfold. Having this unique opportunity to help just-engaged couples begin the most meaningful journey of their lives is what makes my job such a privilege. Getting to know every couple on a personal level and earning their trust is genuinely rewarding. Knowing that you’ve played a part in making a couple’s dream come true—there’s no feeling quite like it.
Tips for choosing the perfect venue:
- Talk and compromise with each other. Whether you’re thinking of a large wedding or a small one, indoor or outdoor, make sure you’re fully and happily in agreement.
- Be flexible about your wedding date. If you’re willing to consider alternative days of the week, or even months, it will take a lot of pressure off everyone involved.
- Before you choose a venue, put together a tentative guest list to see how many guests you are looking to have, then see which place would be the best fit.
- Ask questions: what is included? Are there surprise costs? Are taxes and service fees included? Make sure you are getting a good value.
My To Do List
I start to work with brides and grooms (and often their parents) when they first call Cescaphe. I go over the extensive Cescaphe wedding experience and educate them more on our venues. The next step is setting the couple up for venue tours. Following the tour I follow up to find out which venue the couple fell in love and I work with them to find the perfect date. Once a date is decided on I will put it on a complimentary 10 Day Hold while they make sure the date is also good with important members of family and wedding party, church is available or other important vendors can accommodate the date. As soon as everything falls in line I will officially secure the date for you and I’m proud to welcome you into the Cescaphe Family!
While most of the calls I get are joyous—from newly engaged individuals, mothers, fathers, and other members of the wedding—some can be challenging. In one case, I received a heartbreaking call from a bride-to-be who had learned that the venue she had chosen had closed its doors just one month before her wedding. I made it my mission to assist her and make their wedding dreams come true. As if by fate, I was able to book her at Cescaphe Ballroom! In less than one month, we were able to make everything come together for the bride and groom as if nothing had ever gone wrong. Helping to rescue their wedding and restore their hopes was one of the proudest moments in my career.
