REAL WEDDING: Stacey & Seth

Vie October 29, 2016

How did you meet?

“We met at Drexel University as Freshman in 2006.”

How did the proposal happen?

“Seth proposed to me in our home in an intimate setting on a Friday afternoon when I returned from work.  Seth had the house decorated with candles and photos from the past 10 years of our relationship.  We went to dinner in Rittenhouse Square and then he surprised me with a party in Center City with 60 of our closest family and friends.”

Why did you choose a Cescaphe Wedding?

“We were at a wedding at Vie 5 years ago and knew that it was the wedding venue for us! Cescaphe weddings are beautiful, organized and the food is incredible. The Cescaphe staff makes the wedding planning process stress free and they are amazing to work with from the beginning of planning to the end of the wedding night.”

What was your favorite part about wedding planning?

“Choosing the venue details such as the flowers, menu, cake design and ice sculpture.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

“Dancing with my husband during our first dance with all of our family and friends surrounding us.”

What did you do to make your wedding day extra special?

“We made sure to incorporate details that illustrated our personality as a couple. For example, Drexel Dragon cake topper, charity donation to our favorite charity in lieu of favors and a choreographed first dance to our favorite song!”

What advice would you give to future brides and grooms?

“Enjoy every moment of your wedding day and have fun.  Every few hours take a step back and take in all of the beauty and love that surrounds you.”
